This project automates purchase order processing for a large US surgical manufacturing company using RPA and OCR tools. It reduces processing time from 8 to 2 minutes, achieving a 90% effort reduction and enhancing efficiency.
One of the largest US surgical manufacturing company is having challenge in handling 100,000 purchase orders yearly. <br>High FTE costs, manual mistakes, varying PO format and high cycle time was their pain point.
We proposed to implement Robotics Process Automation (RPA) solution to support automation of Purchase order using Automation Anywhere.
Purchase orders are extracted using OCR tool. BOT development and design on the ERP (SAP) system to navigate to different sales order system and push respective client data.
BOT validate the PO with SAP billing system and send notification in case of any discrepancies.
